52nd Grammy Awards: Black, White, Shimmery.

The 52nd Grammy Award saw some new generation artistes rocking up in less than classic styles that were ubiquitous in red carpet events of the past. We saw how Ri Ri came during the pre-Grammy gala in Viktor and Rolf half-bitten cotton candy dress, while Lady Gaga did live up to her quirky status in the wardrobe department by being spotted in an orb-like Armani gown. Then you have the Perry who kissed a girl and liked it, who never fails to be at the fore front of anything fashion. As much as I hate her sequined George Chakras frock with zigzag hem, I must admit that I have to give her credits for her courage to wear that and date Russel Brand.

Besides black, nude and white were the popular colours for the night. There was Katy Perry in a nude Zac Posen number, and Heidi Klum in a nude Emilio Pucci minidress. She may have throw away all her Louboutins, but Jennifer Lopez did came in a white and silver chain-mail Versace gown that accentuated her figure well.
Rihanna did a change and redeemed herself later in the evening with a high neck white Elie Saab gown with a mini train.

With $200,000 worth of custom made Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira earrings, who would have thought anyone will look so thrashy, but sorry Beyonce (as much as I adore her), I really hated the overall styling from the light-colored hair to the mermaid-like Stephane Rolland gown. Taylor Swift wasn't too far off in my list of worst-dressed with her choice on that Kaufman Franco dress that made her look twice her age. Judging from the trend on the biggest winner and best album title-holder for the year, that was probably the trade-off.

Speaking of worst-dress, no one, not even Miss Gaga can top in the Fashion Hall of Shame. With see-through, black lace Dolce & Gabbana dress worn over a bodysuit and paired with distasteful fishnet stockings, oops, Britney Spears did it again!

Lady Gaga ft Beyonce (Telephone)

Stop calling, Stop calling, I don't wanna talk anymore.
Do not get confuse with the previous one, it's a totally different song with different leads. At least we know Beyonce has 3G.

Beyonce ft. Lady Gaga (Video Phone)

If you want me you can watch me on your video phone.

It's ketchup versus musturd sauce at the final dance off.

Tis the season for Fuschia Pink Nails! & Lady Gaga is hot in McQueen - Bad Romance

As Wall Street investors begin their profit-taking activities like every year-end, the fashion and entertainment industry continues it colourful festival furore relentlessly in the form of Victoria Secret's Fashion Show 2009, New Moon saga, and snake jewellery from Mr. & Mrs. Pitt.

The no-show from last weekend was spent up North with the Dream Team. Is was a well-deserve break from the tireless city lifestyle that included low connectivity and near zero form of contact with the rest of the world.

The altitude sure played its part, topping off with crisp air and fresh spring water, no wonder the locals were endorsed with flawless skin (sans any BB cream) and luscious crop. As we converge in this World Heritage from all over the region, one thing was for sure; the must-have nail colour this Christmas. Residing in different parts of this world, coincidently or not, all five fashionistas were spotted in the same keratin hue. Fashion sure knows no boundaries, and if you are wondering, the color for this winter is Elsa Schiaparelli's fuschia pink with a tinge of magenta - the brighter the better. It's the same degree of brightness (in neon yellow, green, red) designers used to ward off all grey spells from the economic downturn early this year.

To get those great nail color, you can try: Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri Fast Nail Color (Flashy Fuchsia Frost - #14), retail price $12.90 in most drug store or OPI's Brights (That's Berry Daring -NLA46)

The gobbledygook of, "Rah-rah-roma-mamaa-ga-ga-ooh-la-la!" during our parents-to-be road trip visit was probably one in the bag. The then-newly-released video off "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga, is the dream of every Stylissimo. Drool over the Alexandar Mcqueen footwear while you take a piece from the video, Enjoy!

Bernard Wilhelm Wild Plastic Mask - for Lady Gaga's concert

From the collaboration of cutting-edge designer, Bernhard Willhelm, and sunglass label, Linda Farrow, these Bat-girl style mask is definitely a show stopper. They were seen wearing by Teriyaki Boyz, the Japanese rapper boys that were shot to fame with their catchy Tokyo Drift song for Fast and Furious.

Quite perfect for Lady Gaga's concert happening here next wednesday. You could buy them from ShopGirl, that's if they deliver in time.

Lady Gaga in Singapore

Lady Gaga is here in Singapore for Singtel AMPed's launch event happened just hours ago.

She constantly gets people guessing what she will be wearing. Perhaps she heard so much conservative stories about the red dot, that she ditched her bubble-girl and space suit outfit for a full black ensemble.

Somehow the snake-like headgear and enhanced lower lashes (she had a one-piece gaga shade before that) looked very good on her.
